• Designed and developed a mobile app for Financial expense tracking to improve financial management by using React Native and Expo.

• Implemented tab-based navigation with React Navigation to switch between app screens.

• Built interactive UI components using touch-based inputs, feedback, and conditional logic to improve user engagement, and integrated storage using AsyncStorage to save user financial data.

• Also applied modular component design principles by separating screens.

Impact

• This app will address the challenge of financial literacy and management and will encourage users to improve their spending habits and track their income consistently.

• Applied front-end layout and architecture principles to create a user-friendly design and experience.

Outcome

• Strengthened my skills in JavaScript, React Native, component-based architecture, and data management.

• Gained hands-on experience building a fully functional cross-platform mobile app.

• Further, I have deepened my interest in computer engineering and mobile development, particularly in designing applications.
